The Industry Participation team is pleased to announce that the Local Jobs First website is now hosting the complete list of all Strategic Projects. This is an interactive and user-friendly resource for all the key information about previous, current and approved future Strategic Projects.
Key features:
- view minimum local content and other Local Jobs First requirements set by the responsible Minister
- filter projects by type, region, delivery agency or status
- access relevant ICN Gateway, delivery agency and project websites.
Going forward, all future Strategic Projects will be added to the website as and when Strategic Project requirements are set by the responsible Minister .Agencies must advise DJPR of any sensitive project information unsuitable for public release during the normal consultation phase before Strategic Project requirements are set.
In order to ensure the website and our internal records are kept up to date and to avoid potential bidders viewing projects that are no longer accepting bids, we ask departments and agencies to get in touch at localjobsfirst@ecodev.vic.gov.au regarding the status of their specific projects, including letting us know once a project tender is closed or the project has been completed. This will also involve agencies keeping this information updated in the ICN VMC.
